Able to reopen an alarm/event in ops once closed

Due nature of our work sometimes we have to be able to reopen an alarm to make changes once closed out due to information that has to be included in specific reports that are sent out daily the upper management in the organization.  Being able to reopen an alarm to change the location, change the category, and add information to the closing notes would allow for more accurate information in the daily report.  I understand that we can add supplemental information but we do not send separate situation reports each day, but one major report for all high priority incidents.  Also being able to raise a case once closed would be useful as an event may not originally need to be escalated to cases but later on might be deemed as an event that should be raised in cased.

When it comes to being able to change locations, we may have an incident that may escalate from one location initially to multiple locations and being able to change the location would allow us to not create multiple raises for one event.
