Mobile App Error "User asset does not have a map item"

This means that your user's "Linked Asset" has not been configured for use with the Field Ops Map,

Please ask one of your SureView admins to update either your user or the associated asset type

 

Option 1 - Enable "Visible on Map" for the User's Asset Type

  1. Login with an admin account
  2. Go to the Users setup screen
  3. Edit your User
  4. Make a note of the selected "Assset" that has been selected in the drop down
  5. Press Close
  6. Go to the "Asset Setup" screen (via the menu in the top right conrer)
  7. Go to the "Asset Type" tab
  8. Edit the appropriate Asset
  9. Make sure that both "Mobile User" and "Visible on Map" enabled
  10. Press Save

Option 2 - Change the User's Asset Type to one that already has both "Mobile User" and "Visible on Map" enabled.

  1. Login with an admin account
  2. Go to the Users setup screen
  3. Edit your User
  4. In the "Asset" drop down - pick the required Asset Type
    Note: The Asset Type must have both "Mobile User" and "Visible on Map" enabled within the Asset Setup screen
  5. Press Save

The Mobile User should now be able to login to the Field Ops Mobile app without an error.
