Alarm Clip Controls

The Alarm Clip Controls allow operators to zoom and pan (move) within alarm clips, and take individual JPG snapshots directly from the Media Matrix

Zoom and pan only affect how the recorded clip is displayed, they do not move the camera or reveal anything outside the original recorded frame.

Permission Requirements

• Zoom and Move/Pan are available to anyone with access to Media Matrix and the alarm clips, no additional permission is needed.
• Saving snapshots requires the "Allow the user to take snapshots" permission.

Zoom

Zoom in and out of an alarm clip using the zoom controls in the bottom toolbar of the clip window

Move/Pan

Pan around the clip by clicking on a side of the clip window or by using the arrows in Alarm Clip toolbar.

Snapshot

Click the camera button in the Alarm Clip toolbar to save a snapshot image from the clip. This will be downloaded to the operator's machine and is also saved to the event's audit trail.

Note: The snapshot button will only be visible if the user has the "Allow the user to take snapshots" permission enabled
