In SureView
Configure your Email Alarm Points (one email alarm point per Calipsa Alarming camera) by following the Email Alarm Setup Support page.
In Calipsa - Inital Setup
Calipsa setup can differ between different versions and models, the below steps are a general guide only
Configure your Calipsa Global Configuration to send Email Alarm traffic to SureView. You only need to do this once during your initial setup.
- Login to your Calipsa account
- Click "Settings" on your sidebar
- Click the Global Configuration "Edit" button

Enter the following SureView SMTP Technical Details
Host/IPus-smtp.sureviewops.com
(if your Ops account is held in the US)eu-smtp.sureviewops.com
(if your Ops account is held in the EU)
Port:
587
Username & Password
(leave blank)
Use proper HELO?
Enabled
- Press Save
In Calipsa - Individual Alarm Configuratoin
Calipsa setup can differ between different versions and models, the below steps are a general guide only
Configure your individual Calipsa Camera alarms to send to SureView. You will need to do this for each Calipsa Alarm / Camera you want to send into SureView.
- Go to your Camera Settings page
(Clients -> Site -> Camera)
- Scroll down to "Configuration" and click Edit
- Enter your Camera/Alarm name in the Name field
- Paste your unique SureView Alarm Email Address into the Notification email field.
For help in creating SureView Alarm Email Addresses please see the Email Alarm Setup Support page - Press Save
- Verified alarms for this camera now be sent into SureView Response from Calipsa including the annotated "bounding box" as part of the clip while false alarms will be automatically filtered out before being sent to SureView Ops
