(Talk to your Camect representative if you don't already have this license)
First Time Configuration
Create the SureView Standard Decoder
This decoder is usually pre-configured in your SureView Account. These instructions are here in case it needs to be added manually or edited. Please contact SureView Support before making changes to the Standard Decoder
- Login to SureView and navigate to the "Alarms" setup screen
- Click on the "Alarm Decoder" Tab
- If the "SureView Standard Decoder" does not already exist:
Click "Add Alarm Decoder" and complete the following values
Title: SureView Standard Decoder SureViewResponseCode:\s*(?<rc>[^\r\n]+)
Event Regex SureViewEventTypeCode:\s*(?<ec>[^\r\n]+)
Default Area: Select your top level area
(Your SureView Organisation Account Name)Default Action Plan: Select your preferred Action Plan or leave blank Default Grouping: Select your preferred Default Grouping
Recommended "By Area"Default Priority Enter your preferred default priority
Recommended: 100
Add the Camect Event Types

- Login to SureView and navigate to the "Alarms" setup screen
- Click on the "Alarm Decoder" Tab
- Edit the "SureView Standard Decoder"
- If the following Event Types don't already exist - Add them
Note: The Event Type Name, Default Priority and Default Grouping can be customised to your requirements but the "Event Code" must match exactly (including case) for compatibility with Camect

Camect Hub - Alarm Configuration
In SureView
- Login to SureView and go to Alarm Setup
- Click on the "Alarm Decoder" tab
- Note down your unique "SureView Standard Decoder" email address. by:
- Open Notepad (or another note taking application)
- Copy the "System Identifier" from SureView and paste it into notepad (it will look something like t3p45bc4gr)
- add it to as a prefix to SureView region / web address to make the email address. It should look something like t3p45bc4gr@us.sureviewops.com or t3p45bc4gr@eu.sureviewops.com
- This is the email address you will use in your Camect Hubs
In Camect
- Login to Camect using Chrome and navigate to their "V2 UI"
- Click the Settings button on the Camect Hub you wish to configure
- Click on the Alerts Tab
- Configure your detection settings as required
- Click the "Add monitoring" button and select "sureview" from the list
- Select your SureView Response region (US or EU)

Enter your unique SureView Email Address that you noted down when following the steps above
- Click Download setup.csv
- Enter the exact name (case sensitive) of the SureView Area (site) you want to add Camect to and press OK
In SureView
- Login to SureView and go to Alarm Setup
- Click BULK ADD
- Upload the setup.csv you downloaded from Camect
- Customise any rows as required
- Press Add
Done. You have now configured your Camect hub to send alarms into SureView.
