Native Integration: Requirements

 

License Requirements

Mobile License for FLIR to be used by the SureView Integration User

 

Only one is needed for the SureView user, as it is shared between all connections with the same user. However, if other user accounts will log in via Mobile, you will need to ensure that you do not use all your licenses and leave SureView without one.

Live Video Streaming

You don't have to enter this port into SureView. The port is automatically detected when SureView starts the live camera

 

 

Native Integration: Sync Configuration

Using the SureView Advanced Device Setup go to the Sync Tab and add VideoEdge" as a new Sync System including the following fields

Title The user facing name of the system you are connecting to
Type Flir Lattitude
OpsLink The OpsLink server that has the Flir integration installed
Host Host address / IP address of the Fir Server
Port 1116 (Flir API Port)
Username The username for Mobile License Enabled User

Native Integration: Area Sync

Once you have saved your Sync Configuration (described above) you can then add the individual Area Syncs to synchronise March Cameras against individual Areas in SureView.

  1. Go to the  Sureview "Syncs" tab (when adding or editing your Sync System)
  2. Click Add Area Sync
  3. Complete the Area Sync Fields

Title The friendly name for the Area Sync
Area Which SureView Area should the sync use when adding doors/alarms etc
Identifier

If you need to sync your Flir VMSA into different SureView Areas you can set up individual syncs with camera filters. If you want to sync ALL your VMS Cameras into a single Area then you can leave the identifier blank.

 

SiteNem

Enter the Camera's Flir Site that you want to match  to your SureView Areas

Examples

SiteName=Hawthorne*; // wild card on end
SiteName=*Hawthorne*; // wild card any where
SiteName=*Hawthorne; // wild card at start
SiteName=Hawthorne; // exact match

 

 

CameraName

Enter the Camera CameraName that you want to match  to your SureView Areas

 

Examples

CameraName=Cam*; // wild card on end
CameraName=*Cam*; // wild card any where
CameraName=*Cam; // wild card at start
CameraName=Camera 1234; // exact match

 

The Sync identifiers can be combined for a more preceise match e.g.

Native Integration: Troubleshooting


Authorization Failed error.

Each Flir user establishes a new connection. This error indicates that you have reached the maximum number of users allowed based on the number of mobile licenses you have.
