How do I restrict Masking/Disarming?

Permissions

User Permissions can restrict how individual users can mask Areas or alarm points in Sureview.  

Mask Alarm Points
This will allow users to mask alarm points or areas up to a configurable max time

Mask alarm points for an extended period of time 
This will allow users to mask alarm points or areas for as long as is needed (overriding any configured maximum)

Area Setup

Individual Areas can be configured with specific Masking Permissions in the Area Setup screen 

Max Mask Duration (minutes)
The maximum time in minutes that this Area (or alarm points in the area) can be masked for by a user with the "Mask Alarm Points" permission

Note: Users with "Mask Alarm points for an extended period" permission  can override this setting

Disable Masking
Disable masking entirely for this Area (including any individual alarms in the area)

Note: This applies to all permissions - No users will be able to Mask this area if this check box is enabled.

Device Setup

Individual Alarm points can be configured with a "Max Mask Duration (Minutes)" value in the Device Setup screen.  This setting will override the Area Setup Max Mask Duration 
Note: Users with "Mask Alarm points for an extended period" permission  can override this setting
