How Long are Events Kept in History?

Administrators can customise how long Event Data and Event Media Clips are stored in your SureView Ops account before being automatically deleted in the Organization Settings Page.

Note: The age of the Event is based on when the Event was first created "Event Start Time" (i.e. when the first Alarm in the Event was triggered).

Days to retain non-preserved events (Default: 365 days)
How long should text event data (the audit trail) be stored.  Any events older than the given value will be automatically and permanently deleted.

Events that are marked as "Preserved" are retained indefinitely (or until the event has been removed from preservation)

Days to retain non-preserved events media (Default: 90 days)

How long should any associated event media data (e.g. alarm clips) be stored.  Any media older than the given value will be automatically and permanently deleted.

Events that are marked as "Preserved" are retained indefinitely (or until the event has been removed from preservation)
